Çetin Kaya Koç, Co-founder
Çetin Kaya Koç is a leader and visionary in cryptographic technology, making significant contributions to several cryptography and security products that have been in the marketplace since 1990, including PGP, BSAFE, and CDSA. He was a member of the faculty at the University of Houston and Oregon State University between 1988 and 2005. He established Information Security Laboratory at Oregon State University, and received Oregon State University Award for Outstanding and Sustained Research Leadership in 2001. Çetin is the co-founder of the Workshop on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems and the co-author of the books Cryptographic Engineering and Cryptographic Algorithms on Reconfigurable Hardware, published by Springer. He has also published 6 conference proceedings, 9 US patents, and more than 120 journal and conference papers. He founded the companies SITI, rTrust, and CryptoCode, and developed an array of cryptographic software toolkits and hardware architectures. He is a Fellow of IEEE. Çetin Kaya Koç holds a Ph.D. from University of California Santa Barbara.
Matt Hubert, Co-founder
Matt Hubert is a software engineer and product designer, having released software such as web applications, multimedia environments, application programming frameworks, and embedded systems for small businesses and research labs. He specializes in open source applications and modern web technologies, leading startups from design to deployment. Matt Hubert holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of California Santa Barbara.
Ghaith Hammouri, Co-founder
Ghaith Hammouri develops cutting-edge cryptographic systems, including CD fingerprinting technology--an invention which has the potential to prevent unauthorized copying of optical media, and hardware identification extraction. He worked as a post doctoral researcher at the Cryptography and Information Security Laboratory. Currently, Ghaith is working on developing Claveo's core technology and security applications. Ghaith Hammouri holds a Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Carl Minden
Carl Minden specializes in Java software development and has created several applications on the Android mobile device platform. He has also worked on various projects in the fields of cryptography and security including the development of a cryptographic benchmarking utility for SGI supercomputers as well as a submission to the National Institute for Standards and Technology’s SHA3 cryptographic hash algorithm competition. Carl Minden holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of California Santa Barbara.
